I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Information Technology Management department at the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. My research explores the overlap of information technology, societal issues, and business outcomes. I am particularly interested in the online environment's role in addressing societal challenges. My dissertation explored two key areas: gender inequality and the spread of fake news in digital spaces.
My academic work has been recognized and awarded. Notably, one of my studies was honored with the Best Paper Proceedings at the Academy of Management (AoM) in 2020.
Before joining the faculty at Shidler, I completed my Ph.D. in Information and Decision Sciences at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. My academic journey began at the Hanyang University's School of Business, where I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration.
